Introduction The course will be delivered in six 1 to 2 hour online modules spread over a two month period. Participants will follow up each module with in-work application. Participants will feedback results at the next session and can also place their work on a participants' forum. Each participant or team viewing a single terminal will receive individual tuition to assist them to customise an M & E system to their particular needs. This service is included in the price. Course Objective By the end of the course participants will have gained the skills and experience to design and implement a Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation system which they can use in their work. Participants The course is aimed at managers and staff who are actively involved in M&E within their organisations. Participants will be able to meet, online, people from around the world who are also actively engaged in M&E and have the opportunity to work together and exchange experience and ideas. Participants will receive individual online tuition and technical support for using the online system and a Toolkit. The Course The online training approach will use a software system that can easily be downloaded and set up on organisations desktop. Because it is server based it is virus protected and accessible from any computer using the provided password. The course will use a fully distributed desktop application for managing the online material. This material is presented in word format for participants to download.

Module 2 Using and understanding the Logical Framework for project design, monitoring and evaluation Exercise in using the Logical Framework for designing monitoring Indicators and Means of Verification
Module 3 Tools for Result Based Project Monitoring using 13 Templates Exercise in customising and applying the templates to participant's work situation
Module 4 Tools for collecting data and engaging stakeholders Exercises in data collection and engaging stakeholders
Module 5 Analysing the aggregated data from the templates and other sources Preparing the Narrative Report
Module 6 Learning lessons and communicating the results Incorporating lessons into the organisation/programme/project

The cost for the six modules is £300 + VAT (in UK only) or €450 for international locations, for one terminal, which is applicable to individuals or teams.
